Carcassonne, Languedoc region of France - My New Home (video)

I'm happy to announce that I have just arrived in the small town of Couiza, in southern France, 40 minutes outside of Carcassonne. I'm not here on vacation. I'm here to rent for about nine months as I settle in, see how the community and city feels to me, and then begin my search for a small house or apartment to buy in the area. I already have friends here and have visited in the past. Now I hope I have found my 'forever home.'

The short video gives you an overview of the city of Carcassonne. It is mostly known for the fully restored Medieval castle (12th century) that sits on the hill overlooking the new section of Carcassonne. The castle was fully restored in the 1800's.  I hope you enjoy the video. Photos and videos taken by me to follow in the future.
